Saving keeps a conversation available in a local archive. Exporting creates a file or sends the conversation to an explicit destination such as Notion or Obsidian.
Save versus export
Save is the durable local record. Export is the deliberate handoff to a document, image, JSON, note app, or local RecallBase import.
Limits
Free and Pro both allow unlimited local saves. Export limits apply only to selected formats.
