What it does
Search Claude Code and Codex CLI history from your terminal.
The published package exposes both rb and recallbase. It imports documented local sources without connecting them to a RecallBase cloud account.
Local data boundary
Imported records stay in a SQLite database on your machine. The website never receives the raw sessions.

The built-in MCP server exposes local today, search, open, and sources tools to compatible agents.
JSON backups and MIT-licensed source
Back up the archive to JSON. The CLI source is public under the MIT License, and the browser extension remains a separate product surface.
