Does RecallBase read my code or conversations?
The extension processes the chat you choose locally so it can save or export it. RecallBase website, account, billing, and license APIs do not receive your prompts, answers, code, file names, raw page content, or screenshots — they handle account and subscription status only. Which AI tools does RecallBase support?

How do I get started?
Install the free browser extension, open a supported AI chat, and save it — no account is required to start. Upgrade to Pro whenever you hit a daily export limit or want watermark-free PDFs and images.
Where can I see my subscription status?
Sign in and open your Account page. It shows your current plan, billing interval, and next renewal date, plus a button to open the Stripe billing portal. Your browser extension switches to Pro automatically once it refreshes your status.
Will I lose my saved conversations if I cancel?
No. Your saved conversations stay on your device, not on our servers. Canceling or downgrading only restores Free export limits and watermarks — everything you have already saved or exported stays exactly where it is. Here is how local-first works.
How do I cancel?
Open your Account page, choose Manage billing to reach the Stripe billing portal, and cancel there. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, so Pro stays active until then and you will not be charged again.
Can I get a refund?
Pro subscriptions are generally non-refundable, but if you are not satisfied you may email support@recallbase.net within 72 hours of purchase to request a refund, subject to the Terms and applicable law. After that window, you can still cancel anytime to stop future charges and keep Pro until the end of the paid period.
Does Pro work across my browsers and devices?
Yes. Pro is tied to your RecallBase account, not a single device. Sign in or link the extension on each browser where you use RecallBase, and Pro unlocks there once the extension refreshes your status. If Pro is not unlocked yet, refresh it from the extension.
Does Pro apply to the RecallBase CLI?
No. Pro removes browser-extension export limits and watermarks. The open-source RecallBase CLI is a separate, free local tool and does not require a RecallBase account or Pro subscription.
Can I get help using RecallBase?
Yes. Start with the docs for setup, exports, and troubleshooting, and email support@recallbase.net if you still need a hand. Please do not include sensitive conversation content in support messages.
