What stays free
Free is designed to stay useful for real work. Local saves and Markdown export have no daily limit, so you can keep a local archive and produce editable notes without Pro. Pro removes limits and watermarks from formats that cost more to maintain as browsers and AI apps change.
What Pro changes
Pro removes the daily limits for PDF, Word, Notion, and Google Docs exports. It also removes the PDF footer and image watermarks, which keeps export workflows smoother for people who rely on RecallBase every day. Pro does not turn RecallBase into a cloud storage service for raw conversations.
How limits are counted
Daily limits reset at local midnight. Word, Notion, and Google Docs count completed exports that the extension can confirm. PDF is different: RecallBase opens the browser PDF dialog, but the browser decides whether the file is saved.
What Pro does not change
Pro does not make RecallBase a server-side conversation archive. It only changes export limits and watermark behavior. Saved conversations and exported files stay on your device, or in the destination you explicitly choose.
