Quick plan choice
Use Free if you mainly need local saves, Markdown, text, JSON, or occasional limited exports. Upgrade to Pro when PDF, Word, or Notion exports are part of your regular workflow, or when you need watermark-free PDF and image output.

What stays free
Free is designed to stay useful for real work. Local saves and Markdown export are not daily-limited. That means you can keep a local archive and produce editable notes without needing Pro. Pro is for removing limits and watermarks from higher-friction formats that require more maintenance as browsers and AI apps change.
What Pro changes
Pro removes daily limits for PDF, Word, and Notion exports, removes PDF footer and image watermark behavior, and keeps export workflows smoother for people who rely on RecallBase every day. Pro does not turn RecallBase into a cloud storage service for raw conversations.
How limits are counted
Daily limits reset by local day. Word and Notion limits apply to completed export actions that the extension can reasonably confirm. PDF is different: RecallBase can open the browser PDF dialog, but the browser controls whether the file is ultimately saved.
What Pro does not change
Pro does not make RecallBase a server-side conversation archive. It changes export limits and watermark behavior. Saved conversations and exported files still stay on your device or in the destination you explicitly choose.
